* **Account Data:** First Name, Last Name, Email, State/Province, and Country provided during registration for account authentication and administrative communications.
* **In-App Purchase & Billing Data:** Purchase history, subscription status, and anonymous transaction identifiers processed via RevenueCat and Google Play Billing / Apple App Store.
* **User Content & Media:** Photos, voice recordings, document entries, and legacy notes created by you.
* **Location Data:** Optional geographic coordinates used solely for displaying ancestral tapestry maps.
* **Diagnostic & Performance Data:** Technical crash logs and hardware indicators used to maintain service stability.

### 2. Zero-Knowledge End-to-End Encryption
Your private Vault files, end-of-life directives, photos, and messages are encrypted locally on your device prior to cloud backup using Zero-Knowledge End-to-End Encryption (AES-256). Because private decryption keys remain strictly on your local device, DIVOC Design Studio, Google Cloud, and third parties hold zero keys to unlock your files. We cannot access, decrypt, or read your Vault contents under any circumstances.

### 3. RevenueCat & In-App Purchases
We use RevenueCat, Inc. as our subscription infrastructure sub-processor. RevenueCat manages entitlement validation and subscription states. RevenueCat receives anonymous app user IDs, device metadata, and purchase transaction tokens. RevenueCat does not receive your end-to-end encrypted Vault files or private personal documents. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date via your Google Play Store or Apple App Store account settings.

### 4. Google Play Data Safety Compliance
In accordance with Google Play's Data Safety Policy:
* **Data in Transit:** All network communications are encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS 1.3.
* **Data at Rest:** Sensitive user content is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption.
* **No Data Sales:** We do not sell your personal information or user content to data brokers or third parties.
* **Data Minimization:** We collect only the data strictly necessary to provide application functionality.

### 5. Apple App Store Compliance & Account Deletion
In compliance with Apple App Store Review Guidelines (Section 5.1.1):
* You have the right to request full deletion of your account and all associated server records at any time. Account deletion can be initiated within App Settings -> Account -> Delete Account or by contacting support at info@divocdesign.ca.
* Account deletion erases your authentication profile and server records permanently.

### 6. Family History Integrations & Open Data Archives
* **Unidirectional Open Data Archives:** To enrich ancestral insights, our app interacts with public indexes and open data repositories (including Japan Search SPARQL, Mexico INEGI, South Africa NAAIRS, Slave Voyages, Shanghai Library Zupu Archives, and UK National Archives). Queries sent to these archives contain only non-sensitive search terms (e.g., family surnames) and never transmit your private end-to-end encrypted Vault files.
FAMILYSEARCH DATA & THIRD-PARTY INTEGRATION POLICY
Wurms or Burns offers optional integration with FamilySearch (provided by FamilySearch International) to allow users to import, export, and visualize family history records, pedigree trees, memories, and source citations.
A. Authentication & Security Wurms or Burns authenticates with FamilySearch using industry-standard OAuth 2.0 with Proof Key for Code Exchange (PKCE). Wurms or Burns never collects, requests, receives, or stores your FamilySearch username or password. All authentication takes place directly on FamilySearch’s official secure login portal (ident.familysearch.org).
